Day 3: Le Havre - Honfleur

Awake this morning in Le Havre. After breakfast, enjoy a guided tour to Honfleur - a seafaring and artistic town. A site first occupied by the Vikings in the 9th century, it became known as the land of the Northmen or Normandy. It later became a strategic trading post between the French and English due to its location on the Seine. Enjoy a stroll along it's picturesque narrow streets lined by timber framed houses. See St Catherine's Church, which dates from the 15th century and has the distinction of being France's largest timber-built church and visit the Old Port which has some picturesque quaysides. After lunch on board, there is the option of taking a guided tour of Le Havre and then on to the seaside resort of Ètretat (book and pay onboard the cruise).

Day 4: Caudebec-En-Caux - Rouen

After breakfast, enjoy a tour to Monastery Road to see the impressive Jumièges monastery, once called the most beautiful ruin in France by Victor Hugo, and St Martin de Boscherville which dates from the 12th century and is one of the finest Romanesque abbeys in this area. Enjoy an evening of French Chanson on board tonight.

The Old Mill still lies straddling two piers of the ancient bridge over the Seine and is certainly an interesting structure to view. An optional excursion (book and pay onboard the cruise) is available to Giverny to visit Monet's house and garden.

Day 6: Conflans Saint-Honorine - Paris

A day at leisure to enjoy cruising back to Paris, the morning will be spent in Conflans Saint-Honorine on the outskirts of Paris where you can take an optional excursion to the historic Château de Chantilly (booked and pay onboard the cruise) or explore at leisure.
